Ian has been a member of MissionAssist since 1991 and during this time has been involved with various activities including keyboarding, overseas auditing with Wycliffe Bible Translators and EasyEnglish from its inception.
A Christian since 1953, Ian has been preaching and bible teaching for 65 years and has been in leadership and treasury roles in various evangelical churches. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1959, he has wide experience in accounting, auditing and aspects of the law.
After becoming a writer for EasyEnglish, Ian has gone on to produce text and commentaries.
He translated the Book of James in the EasyEnglish Bible.
He has also written commentaries on Exodus, Deuteronomy, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezekiel, Matthew, Luke, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Hebrews, James, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John and Revelation.
