The storm ends – Jonah 1:11-16

The storm was getting very bad.
The sailors asked Jonah how to stop the storm.
Jonah told them to throw him into the sea.
Then the storm would stop.
Jonah knew that God had sent the storm.
He had disobeyed God.

The sailors did not want to throw Jonah into the sea.
They tried to row back to the shore.
But the storm got very very bad.
Then the sailors called to Jonah’s God.
They said to God,
“We are going to throw Jonah into the sea.
Please do not be cross with us if we kill Jonah.”

Then the sailors threw Jonah out of the ship.
The storm stopped. The men were afraid.
They worshipped God. They thanked him.
They promised to obey God.
