Jesus and the children – Mark 10:11-16

Some mothers came to see Jesus.
They brought their children to see Jesus.
Jesus’ friends told them to go away.
They said ‘Go home.
Don’t talk to Jesus he is tired’.

Jesus was cross with his friends.
He told them to let the children come to him.
‘Don’t send them away’, he said.
‘God loves them very much.
Children are very important.
Jesus put his arms around the children.
He said, ‘God loves you’.
