Chapter 10

10:1-21 Make a dramatic story from these events and act it out as a play. Or write a story about them. Or draw some pictures or maps of them.

Your play or story or pictures might be in several parts: 10:1-3; 4-9; 10-14; 15-17; 18-19; 20-21.

10:1 When did this happen? Which kings had Daniel served by that time? (See Daniel 1:18–19; 5:29-31; 6:28.) What did God do? What do you learn about the 'message'?

10:2 Why was Daniel sad? What did he do?

10:3 What did Daniel not do in those 'three weeks'? What do you think about that? Would you be able to do what Daniel did in those 'three weeks'? Why might you want to do something like that? What might you do instead, to show God that you are sincere?

10:4 What are the facts?

10:5, 6 Describe what Daniel saw. What did he hear?

10:7 Who saw the sight? What did the 'people who were with' Daniel do?

10:8 What happened to Daniel then? What do you think about that?

10:9 What happened? What do you think about that?

10:10 What happened? What do you think about that?

10:11 What was the first word that this person spoke? How did he know Daniel’s name, do you think? What is the first statement that he made? What do you think about that? Who sent this person?

10:12 List the things that he told Daniel. What had God done? Why? What might you like to remember from this verse?

10:13 What had delayed this person? What do you think about that?

10:14 Why has this person come to Daniel? What does he tell Daniel about the dream? What do you think about all that?

10:15 What was Daniel's reaction? What do you think about that?

10:16 List what happened. What do you think about the things that happened?

10:17 What does Daniel tell this person? What is Daniel's attitude? What does he say about his state? What do you think about all that?

10:18 What happened next? What was different for Daniel? What do you think about that?

10:19 What did the 'one who looked like a man' tell him? When had Daniel heard words like that before (see verses 11, 12)? What did this person want for Daniel? Did that happen for Daniel? What did Daniel ask for then? Why?

10:20, 21 List the facts. What was the person’s question? What was he going to explain to Daniel? Who was he going to fight against? (See verse 13.) Who would he fight later? (See also Daniel 8:21, 22.) Who is supporting this 'one who looked like a man'? (See verse 13 also.)
