Lord make us brave – Acts 4:1-33
Peter and John told everyone about Jesus.
The leaders were angry with them.
They were angry because Peter and John said,
“Jesus is alive again, he was dead
but God made him alive again.”
The leaders took Peter and John away.
They told them not to tell people about Jesus.
Peter and John said,
“Is it right to obey God or to obey you?
We cannot stop telling people what we have seen.”
The leaders let them go. They were set free.
They went to see their friends.
They told their friends that the leaders had said,
“You must not tell people about Jesus.”
Peter and John prayed. All the friends prayed.
They asked God to make them brave.
They were afraid sometimes.
They wanted to tell about Jesus but they were afraid.
After they prayed, God sent to Holy Spirit to them.
He made them brave. He told them what to say.
They told everyone about Jesus.
They told how he died and came alive again.
They were not afraid to speak about Jesus.
O Lord, make us brave to tell people that we love Jesus.
