The Devil speaks to Jesus – Luke 3:23, 4:1-15

Jesus began to do the work God wanted him to do.
He was 30 years old.
People thought that Jesus was the son of Joseph.

Jesus is the Son of God.

After he was baptised, Jesus went into the desert.
He stayed there for 40 days.
He had nothing to eat.
The Devil came to him.
The Devil tried to make Jesus do things that were wrong.
He told Jesus to make some bread from a stone.
The Devil told Jesus to bow down and worship him.
He told Jesus to jump from the top of a church roof.
"God will send his angels to catch you", said the Devil.
Jesus answered the Devil and refused to obey him.
He would not do wrong things.
The Devil left Jesus alone.

Jesus went back to Galilee.
The power of the Holy Spirit was with him.
He went about teaching people about God.
