Another song to the Lord – Psalm 96

Sing a new song to the Lord.
Sing to the Lord all the world.
Sing to the Lord and praise him.
Every day tell all the world
about the great things he has done.

The Lord is great so we will praise him.
He is greater than all the other gods.
Other gods are nothing.
But God made all the world.

God is a great king.
Glory is all around him.
Praise him all the world
for he is holy.
He is a good king.

Sky and sea
and everything in you,
be full of joy.
Earth and fields
and everything in you,
be full of joy.

The trees in the woods
will shout for joy to the Lord
because he rules the earth.
He rules all the world
as a good king.

It is good to sing
about God’s love for us.
It is good to tell
about God’s love for us.
