A storm on the lake – Matthew 8:23-27

Jesus was in a boat.
The boat was on the lake.
His friends were with him.
Jesus went to sleep.

There was a big storm.
The wind blew.
The waves were very big.
Jesus’ friends were afraid.
They thought the boat would sink.
They woke Jesus.
“Save us. We will die in the storm”, they said.

Jesus said, “Why are you afraid?
You must trust me.”
Jesus stood up and told the storm to stop.
The lake was calm again.
The wind was gone.
Everyone was very surprised.
“What kind of man is Jesus?” they asked.
“Even the wind and the waves obey him.”
