How to be happy – Psalm 1

You will be happy
if you do not copy what bad people
tell you to say and do.
Love to do what God
tells you to say and do.

Then you will be just like
the tree that grows by the river
The tree is always tall and strong.
It has shiny leaves and lots of fruit.

But bad people are not like that at all:
they have no goodness or strength
and the wind will blow them away.

The Lord is always with people who love Him.
He keeps them safe.
But bad people will never be happy.

When we love and obey God, he will bless us
