Mark 12:36

36 The Holy Spirit caused David himself to say:

12:35The Messiah was a special person that the Jews were waiting for. They believed that God would send him to save them.

“The Lord God said to my Lord:

Sit at my right side until I win against your enemies.

Then you will be able to put your feet on them.”

12:36See Psalm 110:1. In this verse the first time that David says ‘Lord’ he is talking about God, the Lord. The second time that he says ‘Lord’ he is talking about Jesus, the Messiah.
