A big fish swallows Jonah

17 But the Lord sent a great fish to swallow Jonah. Jonah was inside the fish's stomach for three days and three nights.

1:17The great fish may have been what we call a whale. ‘Swallow’ means that the fish took Jonah down into its stomach but it did not bite him.
