2:1-49 Make up a dramatic story from these events and act it out as a play.

Your play might be in several parts: 2:1-13; 14-16; 17-23; 24-30; 31-35; 36-45; 46-49.

2:1 What was Nebuchadnezzar's position? (See Daniel 1:1.) How long had he been in that position? What happened to him then? What effects did that have on him? What do you remember about dreams that you have had?

2:2 What did the king do about his problem? What did he want to hear?

2:3 What did the king ask these wise men to tell him? What do you think about that?

2:4 Who answered the king? What was their answer? What do you think about that answer? Which language did they use? Do you think that the king understood that language?

2:5 List what the king had 'decided'. Why might he have come to those decisions? Some people might not tell the king what he wanted to know. What would happen to them? What do you think about that?

2:6 List what the king demanded. List the rewards that the king promised to anyone who could tell him his dream. Why might he have made those demands and promises? What should his wise men do?
