A tree and its fruit

Jesus said, “If you want to grow good fruit,
you must have a good tree.
If a tree is not good, it will not grow good fruit.
You can see what kind of tree you are growing.
You can see by the fruit that grows on it.”
An apple tree grows apples.
A plum tree grows plums.
We are like trees.
A good person says good things.
A good person does good things.
A bad person says bad things.
A bad person does bad things.
A good tree grows good things.
A bad tree grows bad things.
When we see Jesus,
we will have to explain to him everything we have said and done.
Matthew 12:33-37.
