9:1 What did Jesus do? Where did he go?

9:2 Make a list of the things that happened. Make a list of the people that were there. What happened to the sick man? What do you think about that?

9:3 What happened? What was the problem? What do you think about that?

9:4 What did Jesus know? What did he do? What was those men’s problem?

9:5 What is the choice? What might be the difference between the two statements? What do you think about that?

9:6 What did Jesus want them to know? Why might it have been difficult for his listeners to agree with that? What did he tell the man to do?

9:7 What happened? What do you think about that?

9:8 Make a list of the things that happened. What might be the reason why the people in the crowd were afraid? What else did they feel? What was their reaction to God?

9:9 Make a list of the things that happened. What do you know about the person that Jesus saw? What was that person’s employment? What changed?

9:10 Describe this event. Who were the guests at this event? What do you think about the mixture of guests?

9:11 What did the Pharisees do? Why may they have asked that question?

9:12 What happened? What do you think that Jesus meant?

9:13 What does Jesus want that is different? What did God teach a long time ago? What do you think that this means?

9:14 Make a list of the people that we read about. What was the problem? Why might they have considered it a problem?

9:15 What might be the meaning of this picture language? What connection does that have with the question? What might you do because you know all that?

9:16 What might this picture language mean? What will you do in a different way because you know this?

9:17 What might this picture language mean? What will you do in a different way because you know this?

9:18-26, 27-31, 32-34, 35-38 Discuss these events with some young people. Help them to make the events into a dramatic play. Help them to act it for their friends and families.

Make pictures that show some events in those verses.

9:18 Who was present? Make a list of the things that happened. What do you think about that?

9:20 Make a list of the facts. What do you think about those facts? If you had been that woman, what might you have done?

9:23 Describe the situation and the people. Why had Jesus come? Look also at 9:18, 19.

9:24 What did Jesus tell the people? What reaction did the people have? What do you think about that?

9:25 Make a list of the facts. What happened? What might the disciples have thought about that?

9:26 What happened? Why do you think that happened?

9:27 What happened? What might be the reason why the blind men said ‘Son of David’? For what might they have hoped?

9:28 To what place did the blind men come? Express Jesus’ question in your own words. How did the men reply?

9:29 What happened? What do you think about that?

9:30 What changed? What do you think about Jesus’ order to them?

9:31 What did the men do? What do you think about that?

9:32 What happened? What was the man’s problem? What was the reason for the problem?

9:33 What did Jesus do? What happened as a result? What was it that so astonished the people?

9:34 What was the problem? How did the Pharisees explain what happened? What do you think about that?

9:35 Where did Jesus go? Where did he teach people? What did he teach them? How did he show the good news?

9:36 What was Jesus’ reaction to the people? What did he notice about them? What were they like? What do you think about that?

9:37 What did Jesus speak about? To whom did he tell his more secret inner thoughts?

9:38 What should the disciples ask for? What might be the reason why that is so?
