18:1-5, 6-9, 10-14, 15-20, 21-22, 23-35 Discuss with some young people what Jesus taught here. Help them to develop dramatic stories about it. Help them to act the stories for their friends and neighbours.

Help some children to make pictures that show these events.

18:1 Who was there? What was the question?

18:2 Who was there? What happened?

18:3 Make a list of the facts. What must you do? What will be the result if you do not? What do you think about all that?

18:4 What do you need to do in order to become really great? Whom could you use as a model?

18:5 How can you welcome Jesus? What will you do because you know that?

18:6 Make a list of the facts. What sort of person is Jesus speaking about here? How important is a child’s belief? What will you do because you know that?

18:7 What must we expect? What reaction should we have to those things? What do you think about all that?

18:8 What might happen? What might you do about it? Why might you do that? What do you think about all that?

18:9 What might happen? What might you do about that? When might it be better to have just one eye?

18:10 What should you not think? About whom do you learn? What do you learn about them?

18:11 Who came? Why did he come?

18:12 What should you think about, here? What will the man do if a sheep wanders away? What do you think about that?

18:13 What will happen if the man finds that sheep? How will he compare that one with the other 99 sheep? What might be the reason why that is so?

18:14 What does Jesus compare? Look also at 18:13. What do you learn about how God cares about one person? Look also at 18:10-13. What will you do because you know that?

18:15 What should you suppose here? What should you do to solve the problem? What might happen if you do that? What do you think about that?

18:16 What might happen? What should you do then? What does God’s Word (the Bible) say about such situations? What might be the reason why that is so?

18:25 What was the situation? What would happen? What result should follow?

18:26 What did the servant do? For what did he ask? What did he say that he would do? What do you think about all that?

18:27 What happened? What might be the reason why the king did that?

18:28 Make a list of the things that happened. Compare the ‘first servant’s’ debt with the ‘second servant’s’ debt. Look also at 18:24.

18:30 How did the ‘first servant’ behave? What happened to the ‘other servant’? Compare the ‘first servant’s’ actions with the king’s actions. Look also at 18:25-29.

18:31 What did the ‘other servants’ see? What was their reaction? What did they do? What do you think about that?

18:32, 33 What was the king’s reaction? What was the king’s explanation? What should the servant have done? What do you think about all that?

18:34 What was the reaction? What happened to the servant? How long would the punishment last? What do you think about all that?
