Chapter 16

Chapter 16

16:1-8 You might use your own words to express this. And then you might want to act it as a play.

16:1-6 What do these verses tell you about what had happened earlier in Bethany? (Look also at Mark 14:3-9.)

16:1 Whom do you read about? What were they doing?

16:2 What happened? When did it happen? What might be the reason why they did not come before?

16:3 What was the conversation about?

16:4 What did they do? What did they discover?

16:5 What did they do? Whom did they see? What was their reaction?

16:6 What five things did the angel tell the women? What do you think about that?

16:7 What were the instructions? What would the women discover as they followed these instructions? What do you think about that?

16:8 What did the women do? How did the women feel? What did the women not do? Why was that? What do you think about all that?

16:9 Who was the first person that saw Jesus alive again? What do you think about that?

16:10 What did Mary do? Why were the disciples sad?

16:11 Were the disciples glad about what Mary told them? Why was that?

16:12 How many people saw Jesus on this occasion? What else can you find out about this from Luke chapter 24?

16:13 Do you think that the other disciples were glad now? Why was that? Are you ever like those other disciples?

16:14 Why were there only 11 disciples? Why did Jesus blame them? How might they have felt then?

16:15 What two commands did Jesus give to the disciples? How far should we take the good news about Jesus? How many people should we tell about him?

16:16 Whom will Jesus save? Whom will God punish?

16:17-18 What miracles would believers do?

16:19 Where did Jesus go then? What did he do when he got there?

16:20 What did the disciples do? Who helped them? How did he help them?
