Final remarks

Jesus spent much of his time teaching his followers about the Kingdom of God. People behaved in different ways as they listened to Jesus. He knew that not everyone would believe. And not everyone would continue to follow him. He also knew that those who did believe would receive God’s blessing in the kingdom. We should keep reading and listening to God’s word when we are in trouble. We also need to make sure that we do not trust in money or pleasure. We need to stand firm against the devil if he tries to turn us away from God.

Pray

Father, help me to continue to trust in you when things are difficult. I want to be as useful for you as possible. Help me, Lord, to study and to understand your word. Amen.
