22:35 What had the disciples lacked when Jesus had sent them out before this time?

22:36 What did Jesus tell the disciples to take this time?

22:37 What did Jesus say that the Scriptures said about him?

Final remarks

Satan wants us to give in when he tempts us. But Jesus prays for us. Even if we do give in to Satan, we must not give up. We must learn from our mistakes. Then we can help other people not to make the same mistake. Jesus knew that he would suffer. He knew this because the Old Testament said so. This is one reason why we believe that the Bible is true.

Pray

Father God, please teach me more about Jesus each day. Teach me about myself also. I can only overcome Satan’s plots by your strength. Help me to realise this. I need you. Amen.
