Rules about tassels

37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 ‘Tell the Israelites to put tassels on the corners of their clothes. They must use blue strings to fix the tassels. This is a rule for you and for your descendants. 39 When you look at the tassels, it will help you to remember all the Lord's commands. You will remember to obey them, and not obey your own ideas. You will not turn away from me and do the things that you yourselves want to do. 40 In this way, you will remember all my commands and you will obey them. You will belong to me, your God, as my holy people. 41 I am the Lord your God. I brought you safely out from Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord your God.’
