1st Peter 5 – Questions

5:1 What does Peter want to do? Peter is like the people that he writes to. How does he say this? How did Peter qualify in a special way? What does Peter say about the glory of Christ? What difference might all that make to you?

5:2 What should you do as a Christian? How will leaders find the people that they should lead? What do you learn? How does your leadership compare with that standard?

5:3 What should you not do? What should you do? How do you do those things? You must do those things more like God wants. You will need to change. How will you change?

5:4 What do you learn about Christ? If you are a Christian, what may you expect? What would be a good attitude to that?

5:5 What should younger people do? What should everyone do? Why might that be a good idea? Where might you look for help in doing this? Do you behave like this?

5:6 What should you do? What will God do for you? When will that be? How does your behaviour compare with that?

5:7 What should you do with your anxious thoughts or worries? Why is that a good thing to do? What happens when you do that?

5:8 How should you live? What three things do you learn about the devil? Do you need to change things because of this teaching? Think about what you have been doing.

5:9 What should you do? You might suffer because you are a Christian. Who should you remember then? What do you think about all that?

5:10 What do you learn about God? What has he done for you? What do you learn about the glory of Christ? What do you learn about suffering? What will God do? How will that affect you?

5:11 For what reason may you worship God? Amen means ‘we agree’. What are you agreeing to when you say ‘ amen’, here?

5:12 What do you learn about the letter of 1 Peter? What do you learn about Silas? What did Peter want to do for you? What two things do you learn about the grace of God?

5:13 What, or whom, has God also chosen? Where might the writer be? What do the church in Babylon, and Mark, want to do?

5:14 What does Peter tell you to do? What have you done with this information? What does Peter’s prayer mean?
