traveller ~ (B) ~ someone who travels. Most people would travel on foot. Some richer people had animals, for example, horses, donkeys or camels. Only kings and army leaders had carriages, which horses pulled. Many travellers bought and sold as their work. Other travellers were messengers . But people also travelled for other reasons. They might be soldiers. Of they might travel in order to find food or work. People might travel to pray at a special place. And people who looked after animals had to travel with their animals.
