shofar ~ (B) ~ People would use shofars during a war, to bring the soldiers together. Or, to tell all the people to gather. Or, at joyful events. The Jewish people still sound the shofar today, on their New Year's Day, called Rosh Hashana. See 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.
