A rich man asks Jesus a question

A rich man said to Jesus,
“What must I do to get to heaven?”
“You know what to do”, said Jesus.
“Do not steal, do not hurt anyone.
Do not tell lies and be good to your father and mother.”
“I have obeyed all these laws of God since I was a boy”, said the man.
Then Jesus said to him,
“You need to do one more thing.
Sell everything you have.
Give the money away to poor people,
Then come with me.”
The man was sad because he was very rich.
He did not want to do what Jesus said.
