Some more people see Jesus alive again

That Sunday evening Jesus’ friends were in a house.
They locked the doors.
They were afraid of the leaders.
Jesus appeared in the room.
“Peace be with you”, he said.
He showed them the wounds in his hands and side.
Jesus’ friends were very happy.
Jesus breathed on them.
He said, “I give you my Spirit.”
One of Jesus’ friends called Thomas was not with them when Jesus came.
The other friends told him, “We have seen the Lord.”
But Thomas said, “I will not believe you unless I touch his wounds.”
A week later Jesus appeared again.
He said, “Thomas look at my scars, touch my side and believe.”
Thomas said, “My Lord and my God.”
“Do you believe just because you see me?” said Jesus.
“Happy are those people who believe even though they have not seen me.”
These things have been written so that you will believe that
Jesus is the Son of God.
John 20:19-30 No. 23.
