Isaiah says that God will give strength to tired people

Isaiah was a man who lived about 700 years before Jesus.

Isaiah wrote a book.

God helped Isaiah to write his book.

The book was about what God would do in the future.

In his book Isaiah wrote:

Don’t you know?

Haven’t you heard?

Our God is a God who lives for ever.

He made the whole world.

He never gets tired.

He never gets worn out.

He understands everything.

Nobody else can understand these things.

This great God gives strength to tired people.

He gives power to worn out people.

Even young people get tired and worn out.

They trip over and they give up.

Put your trust in God.

He will give you new strength.

Birds are strong.

They rise high in the sky.

You will be strong like birds.

You will overcome your problems.

You will run and not get worn out.

You will walk and not faint.

Later in the Bible a man called Matthew tells us:

Jesus said:

‘You work hard.

Your work weighs you down.

Come to me.

I will give you rest.

I will give you a load to carry.

It is only a light load.

You can manage it easily.

I am gentle.

I am humble.

Let me teach you.

I will give you rest.’

Isaiah had said that God would give strength to tired people.

God would give power to worn out people.

What Isaiah had written came true in Jesus.
