Hagar and Ishmael go away |
The next day Abraham sent
Hagar and Ishmael away.
He knew God would look after them.
God had promised to do this.
Abraham gave Hagar food and water.
Hagar and Ishmael lived in the desert.
Soon there was nothing to eat.
There was no water.
Hagar was very sad. She cried.
Hagar thought Ishmael would die. Ishmael cried.
God heard them. He talked to Hagar.
He told her not to be afraid.
Ishmael would live to be a man.
Hagar listened to God. She was happy.
Then she saw a well of water.
So God saved Hagar and Ishmael.
Ishmael grew up in the desert.
He married a girl from Egypt.
