1.       A man called Paul tried to catch people who loved Jesus.

He wanted to put them into prison.

One day he walked along the road.

He was walking to the city.

A big light shone down from the sky.

It shone on Paul. He fell down.

He heard someone speak.

“Paul, Paul why do you fight me?”

Paul asked, “Who are you Lord?”

“I am Jesus.

Get up and go into the city.

You will be told what to do”, Jesus said.

The men who were with Paul did not see anything.

But they heard Jesus’ voice.

Paul got up from the ground but he could not see.

He was blind.

Paul’s friends helped him; they led him into the city.

He could not see.

2.       There was another man in the city.

His name was Ananias.

He loved the Lord Jesus.

He heard Jesus speak to him.

Jesus told him to go to a house in the city.

He told him to go and see Paul.

He told him to touch Paul’s eyes and he would see again.

The man, called Ananias, said

“No way, I am scared.

I have heard that Paul is a bad man.

He catches people and puts them into prison.”

Jesus said, “Go…… I have work for Paul to do.”

So Ananias went to find Paul.

He touched Paul’s eyes.

Paul could see again.

Paul was baptised to show everyone that he believed.

He believed that Jesus was the Son of God.

He began to tell everyone about Jesus.
